Grade 6 Pupils serve as Teachers in celebration of Teachers’ Day at PJLC

They were given a few days to study their assigned subject matter to teach. Guided by their class Adviser and PJLC principal, Cecile F. Aragon, the Grade 6 pupils proved themselves equal to their teaching tasks when they stood and delivered their lectures and led their assigned classes on October 6, 2025.

Mary Margarette Mendoza and Princess Martinez had a great time teaching the Kinder 1 pupils. They surely had fun and enjoyed helping the little ones learn about colors. Elisha Marcelo and Princess Martinez did an excellent job with the Kinder 2 pupils. Their experience was full of joy as the pupils did some fun activities. Princess also did a very good job teaching the Grade 1 pupils in Subtraction. She definitely had an amazing time guiding them and seeing how much they learned. Elisha, on the other hand, became the Grade 2 Math teacher. She enjoyed her time with the younger pupil and because of this experience, she knew that teaching can be fun and enjoyable.

Moving on, Sunny Miranda and Lance Matillano served as the Grade 3 English teachers. Both had a fun and joyful day teaching and helping others learn. Mahfuz Mangotara and Jayjay Esplana did not disappoint the Grade 4 pupils. They were amazing teachers who made Science exciting and easy. Lastly, Mary Margarette Mendoza and Jan Johan B. Magbanua served as Grade 5 English teachers. They absolutely had a blast and showed their skills and patience in teaching.

Because of this experience, all the Grade 6 pupils learned the true meaning of being a teacher; that it is not just about giving lessons, but also about inspiring others, and sharing knowledge with kindness. “It was a wonderful opportunity to teach the younger grades during Teacher’s Day. Teaching teaches us how to be patient, understanding, and how fun helping others can be”, they said.

Meanwhile, Teachers’ Day is a very special day here in PJLC. It was day when pupils showed appreciation and gratitude to their teachers for their hard work and dedication. Teachers’ Day at PJLC was a joyful and meaningful celebration filled with love for our dear teachers. Pupils worked really hard to give gifts and surprise their teachers to show how thankful they are for them. They made thank you cards for the teachers.

The Student Association officers prepared letters for the teachers as a simple way of saying thank you. Pupils were happy to celebrate this day and it taught them the importance of showing gratitude and respect to their teachers who help them learn, grow, and reach their dreams.
